Feedback opens for the RACGP Standards for General Practices sixth edition

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) draft sixth edition Standards for General Practices are now open for consultation.

Stakeholders, including consumers, are able to provide feedback on the draft until Sunday 20, October 2024.

While the draft Standards caution against conflating sex and gender in medical records, they also define sex as something that can 'change over the course of a person's lifetime’, and fail to recognise the relevance of sex in medical settings.

Feedback closes: Sunday 20, October 2024.
